Qu'est-ce que c'est? (What is it?)

We are putting a lot of emphasis on vocabulary by showing the students the objects and they have to say the names. 

Qu'est-ce que c'est?  (What is it?)

C'est un ...   (It is a ... )

Qu'est-ce que tu vois?  (What do you see?)

Je vois ...   (I see ... )

Once they remember the names, it becomes easier for them to express themselves. 

If they can write the words, they will find writing much easier.
